The over/under for Washington Nationals wins in 2010 is 70.5

I like how the Nationals spread out their free agent money over the winter bringing in Ivan Rodriguez, Adam Kennedy, Jason Marquis, Brian Bruney, Matt Capps and Chien-Ming Wang. The lineup looks good except for the black hole in RF which will likely be a platoon of Willie Harris and Willy Taveras. I think having Nyjer Morgan and Ian Desmond for a whole year will give the Nationals’ offense a needed jolt. Marquis is a innings eater at the top of the rotation and I like the combo of closer Matt Capps and setup man Brian Bruney late in games. If somehow the Nationals are competing early in the year look out as Chien-Ming Wang and Stephen Strasburg give them a couple of big time arms later in the year. I have the Nationals finishing in last place in the N.L. East but winning more than 70.5 games. Take the over.
